Kids Cancer Alliance (KCA) warmly invites you to our Brain Cancer Symposium.
This full-day symposium will feature the latest developments in pre-clinical and clinical research.

INTERNATIONAL SPEAKERS

Frank WinklerProfessor of Experimental Neuro-oncology, Department of Neuro-oncology, University of Heidelberg, and the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ),Heidelberg, Germany.

–         “Gliomas as Malignant Organs: New Insights into Brain Tumor Progression and Therapy Resistance”.

 

Mark Kieran, Director, Pediatric Medical Neuro-Oncology, Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center, USA.

–         “Biology Driven Treatment and Re-Classification of Gliomas in the Era of Precision Medicine”

Plus local and interstate experts.

Topics to be addressed: A comprehensive clinical overview, preclinical therapies, genomics and novel genes, translational and personalised medicine, neuro-oncology, neuropsychology, education & social outcomes. And we will dare to finally answer the question – do mobile phones cause brain tumours?
